Heatilator fireplace installation
in Houston.
Heatilator builds gas fireplaces, gas log sets, and chimney caps. Artex orders the units through a Houston distributor and installs them with the same crew that does the masonry, so the framing, the venting, and the finished surround are all one trade's responsibility. Most of these are sealed direct-vent units, which means combustion air comes from outside and the flue is a pipe run, not a masonry chimney. We have been building fireplaces in this market since 1992 — more than 1,800 fireplaces and chimneys — and every quote is a free written itemized estimate.
What we order
and set most often.
Availability moves with the distributor. If you have a model in mind, call and we will confirm it before anything is ordered.
Three reasons
it comes up on our jobs.
- Log sets and gas units are stocked through our Houston distributor, so lead times stay short.
- Sizes cover most existing fireboxes, so a lot of homes get a new burner without touching the masonry.
- Parts and service are easy to get locally years after the install.
A Heatilator unit is only as good as the opening it sits in. Most of the work on these jobs is framing, venting, and the surround — see fireplace installation for how we handle a full build, or gas log installation if you are keeping the firebox you have and only changing what burns inside it.
