Get your chimney inspected before burning season
Every year the phone rings off the hook the week of the first cold front, and by then the calendar is three weeks out. Chimney and fireplace demand in Houston peaks from September through November, so the smart move is to book the sweep and inspection in late summer or early fall. We camera-scan the flue, measure creosote build-up, check the crown, cap, flashing, damper and firebox, and hand you photographs of every finding. If we spot a failing crown or loose flashing, there is still dry weather left to fix it before you light the first fire.
